The English Standard Version versus the King James Bible

 

ESV: 1 John 5:7 "For there are three that testify."
KJB: 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
[the ESV is not accurate it removes the Godhead here]

ESV: Philippians 2:6 "who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,"
KJB: Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[clearly, the ESV robs Jesus Christ of His deity, claiming that He couldn't grasp being equal with God. Yet the King James Bible proclaims that Jesus is Almighty God]

Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
